In the field of anti-trafficking, ICMPD aims at supporting countries on the national and regional level by providing comprehensive anti-trafficking responses in accordance with international and European standards and good practices. ICMPD projects contribute to institution and capacity building efforts through training, technical assistance and expert support with a multi-disciplinary and participatory approach. Working closely with governments, international organisations and civil society groups ICMPD promotes a human-right centred approach aimed at supporting the empowerment of trafficking victims.
ICMPD also participates in the EU Expert Group on Trafficking in Human Beings and is a member of the Alliance against Trafficking in Persons.
